Nigerian Scam Schemes
This one is not from Nigeria but from Benin.
And they know my name as well as my email. These data gathering techniques are getting too good. And they mailmerged me too. And a Chinese email address!
Did you notice the deceased with all the loot has my rare [outside of central Europe] surname, believe it or not, in Africa, Benin.

Though recently I was on the upper west side of Manhattan, New York. I walked into a mobile phone shop and the guy serving behind the counter had the same surname as mine. Spelt differently but pronounced the same way. He was Indian, from the subcontinent, not the teepees nor the tipis. He didn't know what his name meant, but related that it was rare, even in the region of his birthplace. My surname on the other hand is very common in my father's birthplace, Slovakia as well as in Yugoslavia.
